The master/doctor programme in Environmental Science and Engineering covers the areas of ecologyenvironmental engineering ,environmental science, environmental management and economics, resource cycle science and engineering. Aiming at the development of technical and sustainable solutions that minimize the impact of society on the environment in a rapid-growing country, the master/doctor degree in CESE provides a comprehensive professional education and research in water/wastewater treatment, air pollution control, solid waste management, environmental chemistry, environmental microbiology etc. A highly flexible study scheme is an important distinguishing feature of this programme which allow for development of either intensive or broadened abilities of the participants.

 

The master/doctor programme is aimed to educate students with solid theoretical and systematic professional knowledge and the ability for environmental pollution control. The programme is designed to train students to be at the forefront of environmental science and engineering with a combination of coursework and research components.

 

2Academic Requirements

To qualify for a master's degree, all students are required to:

(1) get a minimum of 33 credits; (2) publish research papers in domestic and foreign academic journals; and (3)The normal time for completion of the master's programme is three years.

To qualify for a doctor's degree, all students are required to: (1) get a minimum of 13 credits; (2) publish research papers in domestic and foreign academic journals; and (3)The normal time for completion of the master's program is 4 years.
