On the morning of September 17, 2019, the first session of Mass Spectrometry Series Seminar on Advanced Analysis and Technical Exchanges was held successfully in B119, the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Jinnan Campus, Nankai University.

Prof. Sihui Zhan from the College of Environmental Science and Engineering of Nankai University made a wonderful welcome speech.

Associate research fellow Jitao Lv from the Center of Ecological Environment Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to give a lecture and host the Q&A section. The participants had a heated discussion on the molecular diversity and environmental interface process of natural soluble organic matter studied by FT-ICR mass spectrometry. During the Q&A section, nearly 20 people asked questions openly on the spot and communicated with the reporter, achieving the goal of in-depth communication around mass spectrometry technology in this meeting. Two application engineers, Chaoyang Fan and Fan Yang, also brought wonderful lecture reports on the application of ion mobility mass spectrometry and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry in environmental analysis.

More than 60 people from the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, the School of Medicine and the National Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology of Nankai University, Tianjin University, Tianjin University of Technology, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Henan University and other units attended the technology seminar.
