November 8th 2019, the delegation of Vice President for Global Affairs of University College Dublin, Ireland, Prof.Dolores O'Riordan visited the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University. Dean Prof. Hongwen Sun met with the guests, and Prof.Xiangang Hu attended the meeting.
Prof.Hongwen Sun extended warm welcome to the guests and introduced the general situation of international exchange and cooperation of the college. Prof. Dolores O'Riordan introduced the development overview and the status of international exchanges of University College Dublin and looked forward to further strengthening cooperation with the College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University.
The two sides exchanged views on wide ranging topics such as construction of Environmental Health Interdisciplinary Center and cooperation in running schools. Besides, they had an in-depth discussion on promoting academic exchanges and cooperation between teachers and students.
After the meeting, Professor Xiangang Hu accompanied Vice President Dolores O'Riordan and her party to visit the water treatment laboratory, atmospheric instrument room and large-scale instrument platform of the college. Both parties exchanged and shared their respective research contents and achievements.
